You likely will want to create a new thread for your question as this one is 5 years old, and unrelated..

Otherwise, 2 users cannot share the same task, but they can work on 2 copies of the same task. Review the User Input Task Advanced Options for task assignment.

Hi Stefan, This is an unrelated to the OP question. Is there a way to (re)assign a task to someone so that the original owner can still see the task? Meaning can Person A assign his task to Person B so both can work on it like sharing a task? (Assume I am in a situation where groups are not an option).

Thanks @abhinavg712 , Yes you are right. I was ignoring that time limit pop-up. Which says 5 mins minimum time interval for both recurrence and timer event.

@ajayp Adding to your description,I would also like to share my experience in this,I too had the exact same requirement as yours, I tried the same configuration as per mention by you and the participants, it worked good when I was working with 16.3 but after few days when we upgraded our server to 17.1 , then the process execution gets stuck at that node, I don't understand if the same configuration was working in earlier version, then why not for 17.1

@ajayp376, do check your recurrence expression ( Minutes interval must be set to a whole number equal to or greater than 5 minutes & Hourly interval must be set to a whole number equal to or greater than 1 hour). I tried to replicate your use case, see attached.

@stefanh791 and @Malcolm , Thanks for looking into this. sorry i forgot to mention this in description. I have tried timer event and recurring timer escalation both. The configured user input task get pause by exception, and exception say the "Expression resulted in invalid recurrence configuration.". However to test i just removed the expression and giving the numbers.

Hello Ajay! I was going to say the same thing. In the Escalations tab, click "Edit" next to Timer Event. Go to setup tab. Check Recurring Timer escalation, and click the "At an interval" radio button. Then set your interval. Hope this helps!

Did you try to define the timer as recurring?
