Also if you use Chrome FIrefox or Edge, then Appian will automatically download and maintain the web drivers for you: docs.appian.com/.../browser-module.html

RE: Browser Bot template fails due to an outdated chromedriver that selenium needs?

where do I find the support files?

RE: Browser Bot template fails due to an outdated chromedriver that selenium needs?

If you find the support files in the browser bot configuration page. You can delete the chromewebdriver.exe file that comes default. Replace it with version 80 exe found here: https://chromedriver.chromium.org/downloads https://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/index.html?path=80.0.3987.106/

A last step before re-running in Windows may be to kill the chromedriver process in your task manager. I don't think the template code properly closes the process. it should be a background process called: "chromedriver (32bit)"... right click and "End Task"

Good question about the automatic Chrome updates. Here are some resources that show how to turn off automatic upgrades: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/stop-automatic-chrome-updates-windows/
