We also faced similar issue in initial days then got some hotfixes from Appian for that.

Are you using the latest version of Appian RPA?

Yes, Execute with Block is checked:

From the logs we can see that the bot is "waiting for the node" . As soon as we log in to the resource with RDP the execution continues

Could you check on your resource that Execute with Block checkbox is selected.
