a) At folder creation time, it's not necessary for the Folder Name to be unique.
b) You can also change the folder name later using the Rename Folder smart service.
c) The easiest thing to do is to create a single Temp folder for your application (secured appropriately) and dump all attachments there on the first screen. Then, once enough data is available to label the folder, create a folder and move the document there.

Hope I have understood you correctly but you could try the following. You could use pp!id for the name of the folder. This would ensure it is unique for each process. This also is always present so no need to worry about naming it. Simply create your knowledge centre and select the new folder to be created under this knowledge centre.

So then can someone outline how to create a folder in this example. Where the folder created for each instance is unique?
