Yes and no. That function is not meant to be used like this and unsupported functionality might break any time.

The documentation says:

"Displays a user's profile photo for use in an image field, rich text field, tree browser field, billboard layout or grid column in a Read-Only Grid."

turned out userImage can be used in an expression..

This happened when I was posting this, im sure that its not related to a browser extension, its unrelated to the question tho

I was typing and when I reached the (') the gibberish words appeared(probably word over another one)

I do not know of a way to fetch the user profile image.

Can you add some details to the following?
