Hi ,

You can also try rich text display field for your scenario:

a!richTextDisplayField(
value:{
a!richTextItem(
text:"New Business Discount ",
style: "STRONG"
),
a!richTextItem(
text:"value"
)
}
)

Instead of value above place your variable holding the value to be shown.

Thanks (Y). I think we can write "New Business Discount" directly in the value . We can consider this as a workaround as there seems to be limitation for the label field to accept this kind of values in single line.

Its only 2 columns in the form layout.

i have a question for you ,how many column layouts you have taken in your form ?
if you takes more then 5 column layouts it will be in the next line , if it <=5 it will be in single line only.

No, but if you just want to display it, you can append the label with value and use it as value for text field in read only.

Value for textfield field is read only.

Will that matter for a for label size in the textfield?

Yes, as per my understanding, there are no other ways. Because field needs to adjust based on layout distribution.

Yeah. If I make the labelPosition as "ABOVE", the values will be printed down. But my requirement is to print the values adjacent only and the label also should be in one line.

Is there any idea for that?

Hi you have two options applicable here,
1. Either define labelPosition as Above or
2. Define a short label and put the instructions for this field which will have the the detailed value of the label.

I'm using labelPosition as "ADJACENT" as my requirement is to print the values adjacent to the label.

So, is there any possible way to keep the label in one line and print the values adjacent to it?

To add this, I have another label called as "Multi Policy Discount". The length of this as well is 19. However, the label "New Business Discount" is being wrapped and moved to next line.

Hi Beena,
Please use labelPosition: "ABOVE",
this will give you to hold the entire value of label in one line provided the length of label value is(for Ex : lets say less than 100) and if the length increases then it will increase the numberof lines as well.
In your case, as the length is only 19.. by using the labelposition as ABOVE you can display the label in a single line.

We can't wrap the label length when we are showing value adjacent to that label. For more UX designs you can refer following URL: forum.appian.com/.../Style_Guide.html

In your case "ABOVE" might help as suggested by Justin.

What labelPosition does your field use? You likely need to use "ABOVE" to eliminate wrapping.
