Yes lokesh This issue comes in 2 cases

1. if we are using wrong folder id or
2. we are getting target folder id from local variable than we have to type cast it

Hi Lokesh,

Please check the security of the knowledge center if you have inherit the parent security to the folder. Otherwise check the security of the folder . And Please make sure the user from which you are logged in should be present in that security group and group should have the editor rights to access.

If you are using knowledge center for security inheritance, please make sure that the targeted folder did not get security overridden.
Also ensure that you are the member of the group.

No, I debugged the issue, and issue was, folder id was invalid, but Appian should display "Invalid Folder Error" but it gave"privileges issue", don't know why

Hi lokeshk

This happened because you did not set the permission for the destination folder (i.e. "Target" folder you set in the FileUpload Field).

To set the permission, you should set the user groups with at least AUTHOR/EDITOR right for the destination folder and/or the Knowledge Center that the destination folder belongs to.
