If your business functionality allow you to submit the UI then use submit link then start your sub-process. If you use startProcessLink and leave a form incomplete it will remain in user task list. Try the work around which suites to your requirement. Thanks

Yep, to resolve the issue - I did use the submit link and modified the parent PM by adding the PM which is getting triggered on the startProcessLink. Thanks all!

As far as I know, the only time you should get the 'Are you sure you want to leave?' prompt is when Appian detects unsaved user-entered data on the form. I would suggest you make sure there is no unsaved data on the form before enabling the Start Process Links.

Hi Omkar,
That is related to your browser. You cannot avoid it using appian. Do you really want to avoid that or Do you feel its better to avoid that?
If you really want to avoid that popup you might have to implement the solution in other way.

As far as I know there is no solution to avoid the alert out of the box and also no javascript is supported along with SAIL to add work around. But there can be work around on how you implement the solution -

Use submit link on customer id which navigates to next form to add product details and have back link or button to navigate to customer list.

Hi Jerry, thanks for your reply. The use case is like I have a list of customers and there is a process which adds products for a customer. So, if user comes and sees the list, he/she should be able to just click on a link corresponding to a customer which triggers the process. I hope, this is helpful.

As you have mentioned this is out of the box Appian functionality. Most likely you won't be able to avoid it. Is there a particular reason you don want the alert? Does it have something to do with your use case? Or is it just a preference thing?
