Looks like you are really new to Appian as I have seen many of your questions on some very basic topics. I strongly advice you to go to academy.appian.com and get started with the course. It will give you a good idea of everything you want to know.

SAIL is the common name for the scripting language used to create user-interactive forms within the Appian system. For more info, it's probably best to seek out some formal Appian training like what already mentioned.
