Please check the active instance of your process model and see whether the task has been initiated (it might be initiated and just waiting to be accepted). Also you might need to ensure you did "save and publish" after your changes to enable activity chaining, because if you just did "save", the old version would still be referenced by Appian when a new instance of the process is started.

I have tried by using activity chaining still no use. After clicking on the Image it is going to Tempo> News only but getting a promt message as "Action Completed"

In your process model, do you have chaining enabled on every activity line between the start node and the user input task in question?
