If you need to show an interface containing data grid, the ONLY option is using Record Action -> Open Actions In -> DIALOG BOX.

Thanks for your response, could you please provide an example on how to map the child interface as Related action in a record?

Also, is this also applicable for child interface that contains forms?

You have to map the child interface as Related action in a record and then use a!recordActionField(). That should do!
