ok. no specific clue why iconindicator is failing. but try richtextdisplay with richtexticon.
i dont know if it is like that, but i can imagine that its more stable

so translated you use a!gridColumn() as well are you using a a!imageField() or a a!richTextDisplayField() to show the icons?

but the tested scenario is not the same with the prod grid. Are you using a readonly grind aka a!gridfield in prod?
