But how about having an additional scan field which will let the user to scan the QR code and get the ID. Is it something that can be acceptable? If yes, then a expression rule to scan the QR and get the ID from the parts of URL can be done.

RE: How to start a process from a QR code via Phone's browser

The QR code have that ID, and that should be passed to the Interface, how do I achieve that? can you please elaborate.

RE: How to start a process from a QR code via Phone's browser

Appian User.

RE: How to start a process from a QR code via Phone's browser

user who is going to scan QR is Appian user or just random user?

RE: How to start a process from a QR code via Phone's browser

Hello Sowvik Roy

I guess that should not be a problem. If you say you are showing a QR to scan and land on Appian page that would definetely be something do-able outside Appian. And you would need a interface which would collect the ID and User data in the form and on submit you would start a process and refresh the locals that collect the data.

RE: How to start a process from a QR code via Phone's browser

How much of this have you completed so far? .
