Hi, even though using Dreamweaver might seem like a simpler option in your use case, I will say doing it manually might be more effective because it will reduce your chances of making a mistake. Specifically, if you do a Find and Replace All/Replace in xml, you can end up modifying label you are not supposed to. If you do this manually inside Appian's forms designer, it will ensure correct behavior and you will not have to export and import the forms every time. Obviously, the final choice shall be yours and what you find more effective. Hope this helps!

Thanks for that information, but that's not what I mean. I have a label name in a form.. called Project for example. They want the label name in the form to be changed to Subject. Instead of me going into the designer to open each forms and change the "label" name. Would it be easier to extract the XML file, make the change in there using Dreamweaver (find/replace) and then rezip and send it back to Appian. I did a test with one, seems to work, but I want to make sure if it's a good approach or not.

You may want to look at the Process Upgrade Smart Services (if you are on 7.0+). I have not used the Upgrade Processes node, but it has the ability to upgrade process instances to a particular version.

Is this a SAIL form or forms designer form?
