I created a related action too but the thing is I was able to pass only 250 ids. Not more than that

so every time I run the process model, I am creating an unique ID and I am passing this uniqueID to the site in the newTab and I am able to filter.

One workaround is to create a record and configure a related action. While this isn't the recommended or ideal approach, it can fulfill your requirement by allowing you to pass parameters and launch the interface in a new tab.

Where is that data coming from? How does the user query, sort and filter it? That's the important part here.

I tried this method but not through record type/ database.

I ran an process model and made an process report for that process model and I was able to fetch all the data by querying data from the process report. But the problem is I have to click on 2 buttons. One for to write the data and another one to open the site in a new Tab. Can I do both things in a single click?

I agree with Mike’s suggestion -

Store the data temporarily (e.g., DB or Appian Record).
Pass only the ID via URL.
Fetch the full data in the new interface using the ID.

In that case you should probably figure out a solution where you write those entries to a DB table on the original interface, and just pass a unique key from your first interface to your second (via url parameters), then when the second one loads, query the database for values matching that unique key.

You could try a!urlForSite(), and wrap yourtext list items in a JSON string, but I'm not sure whether you'd run into a URL Parameter size limit if trying that approach.

I think this is not directly possible. From a requirements perspective, my first question would be: What??? Why???

Assuming that you query that data from somewhere, you could create a link to a site page including the filter settings resulting in that list.
