Can anyone suggesten-USTelligent Community 12https://community.appian.com/thread/155129?ContentTypeID=1Mon, 13 Jul 2026 17:46:26 GMTd3a83456-d57b-489c-a84c-4e8267bb592a:d0dd8a73-5a19-4aff-bb1d-07cc36f35977Mike Schmitt<p>A few of my favorites that I&#39;ve come up with myself for my own use and use across my project:</p> <ol> <li>a datetime field in a side-by-side with an icon that gives the user a 1-click target to fill with the current date (or datetime)</li> <li>a file upload field that doubles as a read-only file preview field (predating the recent updates to the file upload field offering the &quot;preview&quot; pop-up) with a rich text icon saving the linked document ID into a local variable to show it within a preview field</li> <li>a universal preview field which detects the file type (PDF or image file) then opens it in the relevant on-form viewer, if possible, and defaults to a download link if incompatible</li> </ol><div style="clear:both;"></div>
