You people can now remove the save changes Buttton In process Modeler as it can disable in Appian 17.1 version

How come we don't see "Save Changes" in the forum.appian.com actions we initiate?

Adding my voice to the crowde: The save link also creates confusion for our users, as we have a Save button that functions differently. Appian should be a zero-training interface, unfortunately we need to train users to ignore that link, which is not intuitive.

Depending upon the version of Appian, check for the feasibility of shifting to sites. These standard options are not visible in task when opened in sites.

This is on our top #3 of feature enhancements - its a pain having that option for the users and causes us no end of grief.

That's the common problem around save changes with explicit customised button for save on the form.
As other practitioners above said we do not have control over OOB save changes link, - it's more of a training area to train users to use your save button rathar than the save changes link.

Thank you all! Unfortunately does not resolve the issue.

Our application has a Save button that actually persists data in the database, so users are getting confused by the Save Changes option, as it does not behave the same way.

Save changes saves the rule inputs for the form (not the local variables). It also does not support saving documents. Only quick tasks do not have the ability to save changes when opening the form in tempo.

Save changes allows the user to save what they typed in so far, without submitting and can't be removed.
Reassign can be removed via the assignment tab on the properties of the user input node.

Hi Adeel, Save changes option is OOB functionality and we don't have control on this in Tempo. if you have sites implemented this option would not be visible when a task is opened from sites.
