Appian Robotic Process Automation
Learn to develop bots
The Appian Robotic Process Automation (RPA) learning path is designed to guide you through a series of activities to prepare you for bot development. You’ll learn about the characteristics of a good RPA use case as well as how Appian applications and bots work together to automate your business practices and workflows.
The learning path begins with a course designed to orient you to Appian RPA and teach you how to create a bot, connect it to an Appian process, and execute it. You’ll learn how to use low-code methods, specifically working with the Browser module and Selenium. Additionally, there are two tutorials available after the first course to practice your bot building skills.
If you’re experienced in Java development, you can take the optional second section. In this section you’ll learn how to set up your development environment, understand the structure of a bot, and create a workflow library. There are tutorials available for this section as well.
The Appian RPA learning path is ideal for all developers who have received a level 1 credential and want to learn more about using robotic processes in Appian.
After completing this learning path, you’ll be able to:
- Create a robotic process
- Execute a robotic process using the smart service in a process model
- Use Selenium to automate browser workflows
