Yeah you can trigger an Appian Process model through an email containing this document as an attachment and move it to respective Appian KC folder.

You'll have to do a complete restore to backup. move or delete the hotfixed installation, restore your backed-up Appian/Jboss install folder, restore database backup. If it's a single server install with no web server, that should be it.
