Have a pv that is initially set to false, on the output of the node set the pv to true. In a parallel flow, you can check the pv value to determine if the node completed or not.

All you need to do for that is probably something like this: a!forEach( enumerate(local!outputLength), /* some code here to pick a random member of the original array per the current fv!item being 0 -> local!outputLength-1 */ )

In general if the ID is correct you can convert id to doc using todocument(). If there is no doc with given ID appian will return [ID NOT FOUND] (Document)
