DRAFT KB-XXXX How to update SSL certificates in IIS

Purpose

This article describes how to update SSL certificates when using IIS as your web server.

Instructions

In Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, under Connections, click on your server name.

Double click on Server certificates. Following image for reference purpose: .

Click on Import. Following image for reference purpose:

Enter the password and click OK to import the new certificate.

In Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, under Connections, expand your server’s name, expand Sites, and then, click the site that you want to secure (usually the default website).

In the Actions menu, under Edit Site, click Bindings.

In the Site Bindings window, select binding for https, and then click Edit.

In the SSL certificate drop-down list, select your recently imported SSL Certificate.

Restart Appian and IIS and start a new browser session to confirm the site is using the newly imported SSL certificate.
