Symptoms

After selecting a date in a date or date time field, users of the Appian for Mobile Devices application for both iOS and Android see the wrong date selected. This only occurs for users whose device time zone has a positive GMT offset, for example GMT+2 or GMT+11.

Cause

This issue has been reported to the Appian Product Team. The reference number for this issue is AN-116256.

Workaround

There are two possible workarounds to this issue:

Disable the Modern UI features from the Appian for Mobile Devices settings.
Use a device timezone with a zero or negative GMT offset, for example GMT or GMT-5.

Affected Versions

This article applies to Appian for Mobile Devices application versions 18.3 and higher.
