&lt;h2&gt;Purpose&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In some instances, customers may want to restrict access to phpMyAdmin on Appian Cloud sites. The purpose of this document is to provide a way to&amp;nbsp;do so.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Instructions&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Access to the phpMyAdmin interface is regulated through the &lt;strong&gt;Database Administrators system&lt;/strong&gt; group. Customers who wish to restrict access to the database administrative interface may either limit restrict group membership to a select number of users, or ensure that the group has no members, depending on the use case.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;See the Appian Cloud Database Administration section of the &lt;a href="https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/latest/Appian_Cloud_Web_Administration.html"&gt;Appian Cloud Web Administration documentation&lt;/a&gt; for more details.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Note:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;If access to the phpMyAdmin interface is restricted, then possible alternatives to query/manage the Appian Cloud database&amp;nbsp;may&amp;nbsp;be:&lt;/p&gt;
