Does Appian support Exchange 2016?

Appian does not specify a list of supported mail servers. Standard protocols such as POP3, IMAP, and IMAPS are all supported.

Does Appian support Exchange shared mailboxes using a proxy service account?

It is possible to poll a Microsoft Exchange shared mailbox. forceImapLogin must be set to true when attempting to poll a Microsoft Exchange shared mailbox. A shared mailbox will have a username pattern similar to DOMAIN\username\mailboxname.

Does Appian support Exchange 2016 User Principal Name (UPN) compatibility?

User Principle Names are configured within Active Directory and MS Exchange, and do not affect Appian's communication with the mail server.

Is Appian compatible with NTLMv2?

NTLMv2 is not currently supported.

Does Appian Support Exchange 2016?

We do not specify a set list of mail servers that we support. Instead, we provide instructions on how to connect our software to a mail server using pop3, IMAP, or IMAPS.

What should the "forceImapLogin" setting be set to?

This depends on how you want Appian to login. If you want to force Appian to use IMAP LOGIN instead of IMAP AUTHENTICATE when attempting to connect to the email server, then set this property to true. If not, leave it as the default value of false.

Does Appian support Exchange using a shared mailbox using a proxy service account?
