This issue has been resolved in an Appian hotfix/new Appian version. Please apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.

Symptoms

Using the "UUID or ID" search option in Appian Designer with a process model ID does not return the process model associated with this ID.

Cause

This issue has been hotfixed via AN-115868 in Appian versions 21.2.240.0 and 21.3.

Action

Apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.

Workaround

Option 1

Identify the process model by ID using the customizable process report.

Navigate to the process monitoring tab at
/suite/design/processes

Open the customizable report at the bottom left of the page.

Add a new column for process model ID:

In the Columns drop down, choose Add or Edit Columns.

In the Data tab, choose New Data.

Create a custom definition defined as
=pm!id
(Found under Process Model Properties in the Expression Editor).

Name and save the new column.

Use the report search functionality to identify the process model.

Option 2

Search for the process model by its UUID or name instead.

Affected Versions

This article applies to Appian 18.1 and later.
