Symptoms

Process sizing report in the health check report is not populated.

The application server log prints the following:

ERROR com.appiancorp.tools.labs.collection.DataCollectionController - Problem running collector com.appiancorp.plugins.labs.collectors.ProcessModelSizingCollector ... Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused

Cause

The process execution engine is very large and the query to fetch process information from the execution engines times out after two minutes.

Action

Archive or delete unnecessary processes in the environment to reduce the size of the execution engines.

Workaround

Use the sizing script to manually obtain a report of the processes in the environment.

Note: The sizing script report is not as detailed as the report generated is not as detailed as the process sizing report generated by the health check.

Affected Versions

This article applies to all versions of Appian compatible with the health check.
