KB-1116 Login link with Embedded Interfaces

If a user has not yet visited Appian or accessed an Appian embedded interface during the current browser session, or the user's session has timed out, the user may be presented with a "Sign In" or "Log in to Appian" link when accessing an embedded interface. Clicking the link will take the user to the Appian login page. With some SSO implementations, clicking the link will automatically sign the user in to Appian.

To bypass the link and go directly to the Appian login page or Appian interface (for SSO solutions), developers may opt to use JavaScript code to automatically click the link on behalf of the end user.
