Please apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <h2 id="symptoms">Symptoms</h2> <p>After opening the Quick Apps page in Internet Explorer (<code>&lt;APPIAN_URL&gt;/suite/quickapps</code>), the page loads for a long time, before the following error is displayed by Internet Explorer:</p> <pre><code>This page can&rsquo;t be displayed. </code></pre> <p>Simultaneously, <code>#!</code> is appended to the URL, e.g. from:</p> <pre><code><a href="https://yoursite.appiancloud.com/suite/quickapps/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">https://yoursite.appiancloud.com/suite/quickapps/</a> </code></pre> <p>to:</p> <pre><code><a href="https://yoursite.appiancloud.com/suite/quickapps/#!//" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">https://yoursite.appiancloud.com/suite/quickapps/#!//</a> </code></pre> <h2 id="cause">Cause</h2> <p>This issue is caused by either using an old version of Internet Explorer or trying to use the site in Compatibility View.</p> <p>This issue has been addressed via <strong>AN-70543</strong> in the following hotfixes/versions:</p> <ul> <li>Appian 16.2 Hotfix Package B</li> <li>Appian 16.3</li> </ul> <h2 id="action">Action</h2> <p>Apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.</p> <h2 id="workaround">Workaround</h2> <p>If you are not using one of the supported versions of Internet Explorer, consider upgrading.
