&lt;h2 id="symptoms"&gt;Symptoms&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After opening the Quick Apps page in Internet Explorer (&lt;code&gt;&amp;lt;APPIAN_URL&amp;gt;/suite/quickapps&lt;/code&gt;), the page loads for a long time, before the following error is displayed by Internet Explorer:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;pre&gt;&lt;code&gt;This page can&amp;rsquo;t be displayed.
&lt;/code&gt;&lt;/pre&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Simultaneously, &lt;code&gt;#!&lt;/code&gt; is appended to the URL, e.g. from:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;pre&gt;&lt;code&gt;&lt;a href="https://yoursite.appiancloud.com/suite/quickapps/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer"&gt;https://yoursite.appiancloud.com/suite/quickapps/&lt;/a&gt;
&lt;/code&gt;&lt;/pre&gt;
&lt;p&gt;to:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;pre&gt;&lt;code&gt;&lt;a href="https://yoursite.appiancloud.com/suite/quickapps/#!//" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer"&gt;https://yoursite.appiancloud.com/suite/quickapps/#!//&lt;/a&gt;

&lt;h2 id="cause"&gt;Cause&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This issue is caused by either using an old version of Internet Explorer or trying to use the site in Compatibility View.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This issue has been addressed via &lt;strong&gt;AN-70543&lt;/strong&gt; in the following hotfixes/versions:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Appian 16.2 Hotfix Package B&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Appian 16.3&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;h2 id="action"&gt;Action&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2 id="workaround"&gt;Workaround&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you are not using one of the supported versions of Internet Explorer, consider upgrading. The supported versions of Internet Explorer are listed on the &lt;a href="https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/latest/System_Requirements.html#Web_Browsers"&gt;System Requirements&lt;/a&gt; page.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you are already using a supported version of Internet Explorer, you will need to disable Compatibility View for this site:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;In Internet Explorer, navigate to &lt;strong&gt;Tools&lt;/strong&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;strong&gt;Compatibility View settings&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Select the Appian site and click &lt;strong&gt;Remove&lt;/strong&gt; to disable Compatibility View for this site.&lt;/li&gt;
