&lt;p&gt;When attempting to verify data store mappings for a data store containing a parent CDT with PK type char() and a child CDT with FK type char() the following error occurs:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;pre class="code-java"&gt;The data source schema does not match the type mappings: Wrong column type in &amp;lt;CDT_NAME&amp;gt; &lt;span class="code-keyword"&gt;for&lt;/span&gt; column &amp;lt;FOREIGN_KEY_COLUMN&amp;gt;. Found: &lt;span class="code-object"&gt;char&lt;/span&gt;, expected: nvarchar(255) (APNX-2-4056-000)&lt;/pre&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Cause&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This issue has been reported to the Appian product team. The reference number for this issue is&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;AN-85413.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Action&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Edit the data source and the CDT in Appian to type varchar(x) as opposed to char(x).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Affected Versions&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This article applies to all versions of Appian.&lt;/p&gt;
