KB-1352 "More actions" menu widget does not anchor on the right

Symptoms

In IE11, when a record summary view contains related actions shortcuts with long task names (~>20 characters), the entire interface moves left upon expanding the "..." button.

The movement left is more dramatic the longer the task name.

Cause

This issue has been reported to the Appian product team. The reference number for this issue is AN-84796.

Workaround

To workaround this issue, either:

a) Limit task names to <20 characters

b) Use supported web browsers which do not exhibit this behavior, such as Firefox or Chrome

This article applies to Appian 17.1 and later.
