&lt;h2&gt;Symptoms&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When a user closes the Process Modeler in Firefox, other users are unable to edit the process model without breaking the original user&amp;#39;s lock.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Cause&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This issue has been reported to the Appian product team. The reference number for this issue is &lt;strong&gt;AN-80043&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Action&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Two workarounds are available to address this issue:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;a) Use other supported browsers (IE11 or Chrome) when editing process models.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;b) Release the lock by closing the tab as opposed to the entire window.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Affected Versions&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This article applies to all version of Appian.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
