&lt;p&gt;When clicking the download link for a document provided by a safelink() component, no download occurs. Instead, a 403 error code is recorded in the network capture.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Cause&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This issue has been reported to the Appian product team. The reference number for this issue is &lt;strong&gt;AN-82729&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Action&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If this behavior is being experienced in IE: Access Appian through Chrome or Firefox to download the document provided by safelink().&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If this behavior is being experienced in Chrome: Access Appian through IE or Firefox to download the document provided by safelink().&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Affected Versions&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This article applies to all versions of Appian.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
