This issue has been resolved in an Appian hotfix/new Appian version. Please apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.

Symptoms

When using a!hierarchyBrowserFieldTreeNode in an interface, if the "link" parameter is set to null, the label displays in Interface Designer but not in Tempo.

For example, the following code would result in the label not displaying in Tempo:

a!hierarchyBrowserFieldTreeNode(
id: 1,
label: "Node",
link: {}
)

Cause

This issue has been resolved via AN-84225 in Appian 17.1 Hotfix Package F and Appian 17.2.

Action

Apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.

Affected Versions

This article applies to Appian 17.1.
