&lt;h2&gt;Symptoms&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The following error is printed to the application server log every five minutes:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;code&gt;org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter - Packet for query is too large (n &amp;gt; 4194304). You can change this value on the server by setting the max_allowed_packet&amp;#39; variable&lt;/code&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Cause&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Data in the SAIL context is getting stored in the application server because there is too much data to be temporarily stored in the database.&amp;nbsp;There is no user-detectable impact to this.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Action&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There is no functional impact of this error.&amp;nbsp;This error is resolved with an application server restart.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
