Symptoms

Clicking the "Save Changes" item on a SAIL Form displays the following message if a "File Upload" component is present and a file has been uploaded:

An Error Has Occurred

Saving a form containing uploaded files is not supported. Please remove them and try again.

Cause

Saving a document in a user input task is not currently supported. A product use case has been logged to add this functionality in a future release of Appian. The reference number for this enhancement is AN-61213.

Action

Contact Appian Support to be added to this enhancement.
