&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 3. When navigating to the user&amp;#39;s Profile, an&amp;nbsp;error pop-up appears with the following text:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;pre&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;code&gt;An error was encountered while processing your request. Please try again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/code&gt;&lt;/pre&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Basic users&amp;nbsp;do not have viewer rights on this folder.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;

&lt;h3&gt;For Appian version 17.4 and earlier&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;First, verify that the User Pictures folder is present in the Default Community. This &lt;a href="/support/w/kb/974/kb-1587-tempo-and-designer-contents-do-not-render-properly"&gt;KB article&lt;/a&gt; details how to&amp;nbsp;determine the&amp;nbsp;presence of the folder and how to retrieve it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Then, verify the security on this folder:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Log in as an Administrator.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Navigate to &lt;strong&gt;Runtime Data&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The issue happens when the &lt;strong&gt;User pictures&lt;/strong&gt; folder is missing from the &lt;strong&gt;Default Community&lt;/strong&gt; or when the basic users don&amp;#39;t have viewer rights on this folder.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Action&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;First, verify that the User pictures folder is present in the Default Community. This &lt;a href="/support/w/kb/974/kb-1587-tempo-and-designer-contents-do-not-render-properly"&gt;KB article&lt;/a&gt; details how to check the&amp;nbsp;presence of the folder and how to retrieve it if the folder is missing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Then, verify the rights on the Users pictures folder:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For Appian version 17.4 and later&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Log in as an administrator&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Go to &lt;strong&gt;Runtime Data&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Select &lt;strong&gt;Documents&lt;/strong&gt; and expend the &lt;strong&gt;Communities&lt;/strong&gt; list.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Click on &lt;strong&gt;Default Community&lt;/strong&gt; and then &lt;strong&gt;System Knowledge Center&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Select the checkbox at the left of the &lt;strong&gt;User Pictures&lt;/strong&gt; folder and then click on &lt;strong&gt;Security&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Check the box &amp;quot;Inherit security from parent.&amp;quot;.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;On the left search bar, search for: &lt;strong&gt;User Covers&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Click on the &lt;strong&gt;User Covers&lt;/strong&gt; checkbox and then on &lt;strong&gt;Security&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Verify that&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Default (All Other Users)&lt;/strong&gt; or the &lt;strong&gt;All User&lt;/strong&gt; group have the &lt;strong&gt;Viewer&lt;/strong&gt; permission level.&lt;/li&gt;
