JBoss won't start, throws 'unable to instantiate personalization-userprofile-service' after restart

Question

Hi all, 
 Anyone seen the below before on restart of JBoss, and anyone know how to resolve? No changes to configuration other than the first restart since changing conf.plugins.poll-interval=60 to 5. We've reverted to 60 and issue persists. We've been deploying plugins a lot over the past few days as part of our development. I've removed these plugins from the plugins directory and the issue persists. Any ideas?

Okay, so the root cause is that I updated the version of appian-suiteapi.jar in lib. 
 
The solution is: 
 
0. Stop Appian and JBoss 
1. Revert to the last stable version of appian-suiteapi on this instance 
2. Delete the application server cache ( community.appian.com/.../kb-1232-how-to-clear-the-application-server-cache) 
3. If there's an undeployed file for your appian-ds in standalone, delete it 
4. Restart Appian and JBoss 
 
Headline: don't update appian-suiteapi.jar to a newer version because your new plugin needs it!
