installed Appian But System Admin is not created

Question

Hi All, 
 I could able to install Appian but, I gave the username is Administrator itself in the password.properties file which could not able to create the User in the system. 
 
 So how could I create a new User as the Default User account "Administrator" is not able to connect to the admin console. 
 Please advice.

Thanks sravanis for the inputs , but the solution for this is I recreated the passowrds.properties file and started the server and now it is working fine with the new Admin

no this doesn't work if you dnt have ur smtp server set up. so you have to create a new user in this way.

The reason why you are not able to access admin console is because of the following error: 
 
CORS origin denied localhost:8080 not on allowed list:[]

The hostname:port in custom.properties vs jboss standalone.xml file seems to be the problem. Can you post custom.properties and jboss standalone.xml file pls?

Ok found what the issue was. First stop all appian services. From your custom.properties file remove http:// infront of conf.suite.SERVER_AND_PORT. You already mentioned http as the protocol in conf.suit.SCHEME. It should be : vitcdev-appian:8080. After you have changed custom.properties restart all appian services.
