Problem updating with WriteRecords

Question

hi! I&acute;m trying to update a field of a record with new data (stored in local variable in my interface and passed correctly as a rule input) 
 
 Even though the values are correctly saved, when I use the write records smart service it duplicates the rows and stores the value, with the rest of fields in null

I just want to update that field of my record, not to create new entries. Should I use the a!update function? How and where can I configure it in my code?

When setting up a related record action for your record :

You can set up a process variable (where you'll store the primary key) and configure it as a parameter in the process connected to the related record action.

You can pass values from the related record action, either by sending the Id (primary key) or the entire record row data for which you are performing action. reference->

Once you have the primary key for the record you want to update, you can use the passed value in the interface or within the process model, depending on your preference, to update the record.
