I was wondering what level access is needed to be able to monitor processes from the runtime data screen.
I have a particular user who is of type "basic user" and is part of the "Designers" group so it can access the runtime data screen and view the process list but is unable to monitor the processes. I would like for this user to be able to do so.
Any ideas on how to achieve this?

I have a basic user who is a member of the Designer group who can access and monitor process instances:
Colton is correct - the reason that I was able to do this in our environment is due to the fact that the Designer group is nested within a group that has Process Administrator access to the process model - apologies.
Though in a way, you could give a user this access by having a custom group that has Process Administrator access on the process models and add the Designers group to this custom group - this then does give a user the ability to monitor the process but with the caveat that it also allows them to edit the process instance modify the base model.
