Unarchiving the Process Model

Hi, 
 
 In general, I would like to know in what cases do we need to unarchive the archived processes(.l extension)? 
 
 Can anyone let me know what would be such kind of scenarios?

There can be lot of scenarios like 
 1. Suppose there is a case in that Child process is archived but Parent Process is still active and wrong output data is coming from child process. In this case we can un-archive the child process to check its behaviour why it is giving wrong output. 
 2. User reported that there are some wrong entries on dashboard but process is already archived from where the data was coming.
