Add image thumbnail on a form/record list

Question

Can we add an image thumbnail on a form/record list. If the image itself resides on a separate image server outside appian and appian only have path and image name for that image. Please suggest....

place a!webImage component inside gridImageColumn to show images in a grid. you can find a sail recipe related to how to display images in grid.

Hi ambrish, we can show images (ex: A) on form/record, if it is webimage (url) or appian document image (appain doc). you have that image on outside server, So you need to store that image in appian to show it on form/record. you can store image into appian by these ways 1.if Server is FTP/SFTP, use Receive File Over FTP,Receive File Over SFTP ( forum.appian.com/.../summary) 2.If it is any other external content management system, use "CMIS Browser" Libraries an utilities ( forum.appian.com/.../summary) 3. CMIS functions ( forum.appian.com/.../Connector_Functions.html) Please see the above links, it may help to your requirement
