hi all,
I exposed a process model as a webservice.
Can i use " call web service" node to test this it?
is it true that no process instance will be created even if the web service is successfully invoked?

Oh I know what the problem is. The username and password go in the Data tab - Inputs of the node, not in the setup tab

Take a look at the attached screenshot to learn more where the credentials need to be provided.

Nothing to update in the Setup tab. The settings are incorrect. You need to do it the way I show in the screenshot. The authentication is not header based, it's an actual input element in the SOAP envelop.

that issue is already fixed. an instance can be created now. however, no process variables were initialized.

You need to mark the variables as parameters. Once you do that the Data tab - Inputs will show additional inputs (other than username and password) where you'll pass the values.
