Does anyone know how to use the Appian Smart Service Delete from Data Store Entity? Any example of property arguments given on Data-Input tab, Data to Delete value would be a big help. Documentation is very poor on this. How is a particular row identified for deletion in the data set? Value appears the only place this can be possibly specified, but syntax is not known to me....

If in the table there is only 1 row that matches the given input say for example out of {2,3,4} only 2 exists remaining does not exist then only row with primary key 2 will be deleted other 2 will be ignored.
It is similar to delete command of SQL it will delete the rows with matching primary keys.

I stuck with "Delete from Data Store Entity" before. The issue is the entity, not your CDT. The entity is Data Store Entity. You need to either create a constant to point to your Data Store Entity or create PV with Data Store Entity type pointing to your Data Store Entity. The identifiers are primary keys. The smart service is very convenient to use.

The Designer "Start Process for Debugging" does not provide any diagnostic message, I simply get a generic 'Problem with Node'... has anyone trapped error conditions using the Exception tab for this node type?

Hi suryanshuj0001, I recommend that you start a new topic for your issue since the original topic is from 2015.

You cannot use this smart service for truncating the table. I suggest you explore other options, maybe function/Storeprocedure.
