After Upgade to 16.3 Tempo page shows error

The tempo page loads with all info. A couple seconds later it changes to
The entry is no longer available.
An error was encountered while processing your request.
It does the same for Updates, Participating

Is it only the News page you are having an issue with?
Is there anything in the app server log?
Is the connection to the primary DB getting cut off?

Application log shows:

And have you applied the hotfix for 16.3
Also, have you tried to clear the cache and then bring everything back up? Does the start up show no issues connecting to the primary DB?

just stopped JBOSS, cleared cache and temp dirs. started back up, cleared browser cache.
Same issue. It loads fine for a second or two and then the error

This KDB is for more than just News, but might have some info
forum.appian.com/.../kb-1047.html
All the KDBs that have reference to this error talk about looking at the primary DB during a migration. Other than retrying the upgrade and using your backup of the DB (prior to upgrade), I am not sure what else to look at.

This article points to Record Types. We do have a record link from the news feed to the dashboard. One of which we changed from Feed to Grid Record View. I just changed it back to Feed and the error on the News Feed is gone.
