Hi, has anyone experienced any issues before where the write to data store nodes start running very slowly.
We are using Appian 6.6.1 and SQL Server 2008 R2.
The nodes in question are not updating a row in the db, just writing a new line. Sometimes they are taking up to 8 seconds to complete.
This has never been an issue before, and there doesn't seem to be anything in the logs to suggest any issues.
Thanks, David.

Thanks Eduardo. Looking at the jar files that need to be deleted from the lib directory as part of the hot fix deployment, these do not exist.
Would it be safe to retry the hotfix deployment?
I will look to increase the java memory again, but we do not have any plug in's developed in house being used in processes - only a few from the forum if that makes any difference.

You should be fine to attempt the hotfix deployment. It is likely that those jar files were removed when initially trying the hotfix deployment which may have not been performed properly.
Just as a precaution, take a quick backup of the folders where the hotfix will be deployed to.

Ok thanks, I will get the hot fix deployed.
As for the heap size could you let me know what the exact config should be to increase it to 8gb and also any consequences there may be for increasing this config?
This is only so I can communicate the steps we are taking.
Thanks, David

0. Verify you have at least other 4GB available to assign to JBoss
1. Create a file (or edit it if you have it alread) called run.custom.bat under <JBOSS_HOME>\\bin
2. The file will have the following in the USER_MEM_ARGS variable which has to be uncommented
set USER_MEM_ARGS=-Xms1024m -Xmx8192m -XX:PermSize=256m -XX:MaxPermSize=768m
3. Restart JBoss
