staging table approach for excel upload and preview in interface before clicking submit button

hii all

I need to upload a excel sheet as a bulk upload option in a interface and also preview the excel data to user in interface itself before giving submission,

please let me know how to preview the excel data in interface , someone suggested staging table approach , please someone explain how to do this
