Start Form lifecycle

Question

Hello community, 
 Have a question regarding the Start Form in a process model. I know getting to Start Form does not start the process but must consume some resources. What happens if the Start Form is never submitted? What happens to the resources it already has captured? Is there a timeout period when this will be cleaned up? If so, can that be configured somewhere?

Hi Mahesh Pillutla, 
 1) Getting to start form doesn't start any process these is right, 
 2) If start form never submitted it will never generate any process, 
 3) If any form is submitted the process is started or completed or may be cancel it will recorded in MONITORING tab in Appian designer and cleared or archive after some amount of time. 
 4) If you want to configured some cleaning activity for given process model so you can configure it following way as shown below...
