RPA is configured in a web-based design environment called the RPA Console. This environment is easily accessible from any Appian interface and shares authentication with the rest of your Appian site, providing a seamless experience. 
 The robotic processes you build using Appian RPA can be fully integrated within your applications using bi-directional, low-code integrations. 
 
 From a process model, interface, or web API, you can use the Appian RPA connected system to execute a new robotic process and retrieve its results. 
 From the robotic process, you can invoke Appian processes, web APIs, decision rules and other objects. To make this easy, we provide you with a low-code action to start an Appian process from within the robotic process.
