Show an interface as pop-up

Hi, 
 Is there a way in Appian to show an interface as pop-up inside the main interface? The requirement is when I click on a button, it will show the other interface as pop-up/modal/overlay which contains data grid and other components . Thank you!

Yes. Should be good. Also, to use the recordAction, you can use this documentation link - docs.appian.com/.../record-actions.html

If you need to show an interface containing data grid, the ONLY option is using Record Action -> Open Actions In -> DIALOG BOX.
